Ingredients
6 fresh jalapeños, (halved and deseeded)
4 oz (113g) cream cheese, (softened)
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp smoked paprika
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (for extra crunch!)
1 tbsp olive oil
Directions
- Prepare the Jalapeños
🔹 Wear gloves and cut the jalapeños in half lengthwise.
🔹 Scoop out the seeds to reduce the heat. - Make the Cheese Filling
🔸 In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, paprika, and salt.
🔸 Mix until smooth and creamy. - Stuff & Coat
🔹 Spoon the cheese mixture into each jalapeño half.
🔹 In another bowl, mix panko breadcrumbs with olive oil (this helps them crisp up in the air fryer!).
🔹 Press each stuffed jalapeño into the panko mixture, coating the top. - Fry to Perfection
🔥 Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 2 minutes.
🔥 Place jalapeño poppers in a single layer in the air fryer basket.
🔥 Air fry for 6-8 minutes until golden and crispy. - Serve & Enjoy
🍽 Let cool slightly before serving.
