kcalExperience the sweet flavors of tradition without the sugar! These Air Fryer Low-Carb Ma’amoul Cookies are packed with nutty, cinnamon-spiced filling and wrapped in buttery almond flour dough — just in time for Eid or Easter!
Ingredients
1½ cups almond flour
¼ cup coconut flour
¼ cup melted ghee or butter
2 tbsp erythritol
1 tsp rose water (optional)
½ cup finely chopped walnuts
2 tbsp sugar-free date paste
½ tsp cinnamon
Directions
- Make Dough & Filling
🔸 In a bowl, mix almond flour, coconut flour, melted ghee, erythritol, and rose water.
🔸 In another bowl, combine walnuts, sugar-free date paste, and cinnamon. - Assemble & Shape
🔸 Flatten small pieces of dough, place filling in the center, and seal into balls.
🔸 Press into a Ma’amoul mold for traditional patterns if you like.
(NB: The same molds used are not available on amazon) - Air Fry to Golden
🔥 Preheat air fryer to 330°F.
🔥 Place cookies on parchment paper.
🔥 Air fry for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden. - Cool & Enjoy
🍽 Let cookies cool completely before serving!
